FAQ's

Some answers to common questions for pole dancing classes, if you have anymore questions or queries, feel free to contact us.

Where are the classes held?

Group classes are held at: Dynamic Yoga, Unit 9, Top Floor, Hove Business Centre, BN3 6HA

We are located directly behind Hove Train station, if you are walking from the station, use the footbridge which goes over the tracks. Take an immediate left and you will see an old perfume factory. We are in the Unit 4-9. As you enter Dynamic Yoga's recepetion we are the first door on the left.
If the door downstairs is locked, just ring Dynamic Yogas buzzer.

Alternatively if you are driving, I would suggest parking on the road parallel: Newtown Road, which is paid parking at £1 an hour/

Can I attend pole dancing classes during pregnancy?

No, we do not teach anyone at any stage in the pregnancy as the risk is too high. For more details on pole dancing and pregnancy please contact me.

What do I wear?

For beginners classes, in your first few classes you can wear jogging bottoms and a tank top if you feel uncomfortable wearing shorts. After a few clases you will need to use more skin to help you grip to the pole so you will need to wear shorts or hotpants. All my classes, other than Showgirls Class, are done in barefoot

In Showgirls and Pole Flow I recommend wearing knee pads and I suggest bringing socks/leggings as it can involve a lot of floorwork.

How many people are there per pole?

We have 5 poles, and a maximum of 2 people per pole, for this reason we suggest booking early to guarentee a space.

What are the benefits of pole dancing?

Builds Muscle and Tones - supporting your entire weight with one arm can be challenging and will build your upper body. It also helps strengthen your stomach muscles and you can, if you go regularly expect to see increased muscle definition in your bottom, arms and thighs.

What is the age limit ?

You must be over the age of 16 to attend a pole dancing class, there is no limit on what age you are depending on your physical fitness level. All students will be required to fill out a health form before taking part in any Passion 4 Pole class

Do I need any previous dance or gymnastic experience?

No, I started pole dancing with no previous back ground in dance or gymnastics and with practice and pure love of pole dancing I have got to where I am today.
